As I drive through the western part of Texas tonight I start to see a light coming up in the eastern sky. At first I am not sure what it is. And then in a few minutes I see the half moon coming up from the horizon. It is a beautiful orange-yellow color bright in the lower half of the sky. Slowly it rises and becomes a bright white light in the eastern night sky. As I drive and watch the moon rising, I am reminded that even though our world is crazy and messed up right now, there are still some things that are predictable and appreciated for their simplicity. And even though I do not know what tomorrow brings or the future, I do know that the moon will continue to rise in the east and set in the west each and every day, no matter what happens to me or my life.
Namaste, my friends.
