According to Google overload means to “load with too great a burden” and overwhelm is to “bury or drown beneath a huge mass.”
Does this sound familiar? How many of us are drowning beneath a huge mass of something? How many of us are loaded with too great a burden? Caring for our loved ones while working a full time job. Trying to find a full time job with kids still at online school. Trying to figure out what to do next. Trying to figure out how to move forward when one is on overload and overwhelmed by life and its issues. It is not easy. No one ever said it would be however, it is possible to figure things out by taking one step at a time. Even if it is a baby step. One step at a time. To unload one thing that is part of the burden. To start taking apart the “huge mass” one piece at a time. It will be slow. It will most likely be uncomfortable at best and painful at worst. But just keep taking one step at a time. One piece at a time. Because that is all we can do in the present moment. One step, one piece at a time.
Namaste, my friends.
