To be: mute, dumb, muted, speechless, uncommunicative, wordless, inarticulate, tongue-tie, nonvocal, voiceless, dumbstruck, sulking, sullen, close-mouthed, aloof, reserved, tight-lipped, withdrawn, restrained, hushed, noiseless, quiet, soundless. And then it is still.
We all need our moments of silence. And we all need to be heard. It seems that the only time one is actually heard is when one is silent. It is when one becomes silent after asking to be heard, that others start to listen. Sometimes embracing the silence is what one needs to do to move forward in life. The leaves change in silence. The grass grows in silence. And many times we grow in silence.
Namaste, my friends.
