Bad Habits

We all have them. Bad habits. For some it may be bitting your nails. For others, it can be using drugs and alcohol. And for others it can be yelling and screaming at people. Or staying silent when they actually need to speak up. The list goes on and on. Everything in life can become a habit. Good, bad, or indifferent. It isn’t the fact we have habits that is the problem. It is the fact that we are generally not aware of our habits and the impact they have on us and others in our life that is the problem. “Walking around blind” in life is not the best way to live life. We miss out on many good things in life because we are blind to our bad habits and the chaos those bad habits can cause. It is sad how many people are stuck in their bad habits and feel there is no way out. It is sad how many lives bad habits take each and every day. It is sad how many families and relationships are destroyed each day by bad habits. And the worst, is the fact that most people do not know they have bad habits and that they actually have to power within them to shift the bad habits into something better. We all have that power within us. All we have to do is have the desire to do something different in our lives.
