Resentment is when we feel hurt, annoyed, irritated, bitter, and exasperated about a situation or a person or people. We can resent a certain situation or we can resent We can resent a single person or we can resent a large group of people. We feel resentment when we feel we have been wronged or ignored or mistreated. We feel resentment when we are not heard. We feel resentment when we are not seen for who we are. We feel resentment when we have to be someone we are not. We feel resentment when we are not accepted for who we are but rather for who we should be. We feel resentment for so many things. The key to resentment is to feel it, acknowledge it, and then let it go. The key to resentment is not to hold onto it. Because if we hold onto resentment, we given others control over us. And that just creates more resentment.
