We all have those moments and thoughts about just running away. Just getting up and leaving. Not sure where you are going but you know that you do not want to stay. You think about what life would be like without your current stressors and issues. You daydream about being somewhere else where no one knows you. Where no one has any issues with you. Where you are free to be yourself. Where you can start over. And then you realize in time you would end up in the same boat that you were running away from. And now you are alone. Now you are someplace you do not know anyone. Now you are someplace where you do not know where to turn for help. And the more you think about it, the more you realize that things are not quite so bad where you are now. And then you let go of the idea of running away for now. And you head back into your life now. Knowing that someday soon you will have another thought about running away.
