Self-aware. How many of us are truly self-aware? How many of us can stand within our own truth? How many of us can handle when someone points something out to us that is less than flattering? How many of us can say, “yes, you are right. I did this or that or didn’t do this or that.” How many of us “say” we are self-aware and yet keep doing the same things over and over again? And then, when someone points out that you are repeating your past, how many of us can take that into consideration and possibly state, “yes, you are right. I am repeating my past.”
This is what self-awareness is all about. Having ourselves reflected back to us and being able to acknowledge that what we are “seeing” is actually us.
To me, that is self-awareness.
Namaste, my friends.
