Resentment is about feeling anger and/or annoyance with someone or something that you view as unfair. Resentment is something that can come on suddenly or gradually in time. It depends on the situation and how well a person manages his/her emotions. Or how they do not manage their emotions. Resentment is something that can protect us or it can cause us further pain. It all depends on if we can recognize resentment or not. It depends on if we want to let it go or hang on to it. If we want to use resentment as a form of revenge or as a form of healing. It is ultimately up to us on how we react and what we do when we feel resentment. We all have choices. It’s just a matter of if we are aware of the choices we have or not.
