Life. It seems like it is an uphill climb and then when you think you finally made it to the top you end up rolling down the other side of the hill. Now granted there are some times where you get to “catch your breath” at the top of the hill or you may be able to rest at the bottom of the hill. However, many times it seems those “breaks in life” are short and far and few in between. To me life is a battle. Whether you are battling external forces such as work, economics, family, and even nature or you are battling internal forces such as self doubt, guilt, shame, anger or even a sickness or disease, there will always be battles to be fought. To me, it is not the battles that are the issues. It is not knowing HOW to manage the battles that creates the biggest battles of all. And learning how to manage the battles takes time, effort, and a willingness to do the hard work. But trust me, it is all worth it in the end. Because by learning how to manage the battles, you will be able to “pick and choose your battles more wisely.” And this is a good thing.
Namaste, my friends.
