Being Grateful for the Little Things

How often do we recognize the little things that happen in our daily lives with gratefulness? How many times do we just ignore them or even worse not even recognize that there is something to be grateful for even if it is a little thing? How often are we more focused on what NOT to be grateful for? How often do we fixate on what is going wrong rather than what is going right in our lives? Just think about what the impact would be if you would just start by recognizing something little in your daily life that you are grateful for. It could be as simple as “I got out of bed this morning” or “I made it through today.” There is no “right” time to start being grateful. The time is right now. And start with being grateful for one little thing right now. I know it will be the start of better things to come.
