Listening to our inner voice, our gut feeling, to our intuition, is something that many of us have learned NOT to do. And when we do not listen to our gut, we usually end up in situations that are not good for us or we miss out on something good for us. It is the ability to listen and actually hear ourselves that is the important thing. We need to be able to hear ourselves and then either act on the intuition or push pause and gather more information about the person or situation to be able to make better decisions for ourselves. But in order to actually be able to listen to ourselves, we must slow down and take the time to actually connect with ourselves to be able to listen. And this can be very scary for a lot of us. We have been told to not listen to ourselves. That are intuition is “wrong” or not valid in some way, shape, or form. We have been taught to not listen to ourselves and learning to reconnect with ourselves can be a very challenging and scary thing to do. However, it is something that we all need to do in order to live a healthier and more balanced life. We need to learn how to listen to ourselves and then being the process of learning to trust ourselves. And the first step is recognizing that you are not listening to yourself. That in its self is listening.
Namaste, my friends.
