I think the worst thing that can happen to someone is to be conned out of something by another human being. Con artists as they are called are not “artists” by any stretch of the imagination. They are predators who prey upon people who they see as either “less than” themselves or have “more than” they have and they want it for themselves. They lack empathy and compassion along with a healthier moral compass. And this makes these types of people very dangerous unless you can learn how to spot them and remove them from your life in a healthy way. The healthy way is by having good boundaries, self confidence and self worth and trusting your gut no matter what. Not something easily done but it can be done and should be done in order to protect yourself from becoming another victim of a con job.
