We all have them. Bad habits. Maybe it is smoking or drinking too much. Or spending too much money when we know we shouldn’t be spending the money. Maybe it is staying in a relationship or job where it is unhealthy to stay and yet you stay. Maybe, your bad habit is not acknowledging your bad habits. You spend a lot of time and energy ignoring your bad habits hoping you will not have to deal with the consequences of your bad habits. And then one day, as you are going along in your life, your bad habits and the consequences of those bad habits, show up in full force. And suddenly you are face to face with your bad habits. So what do you do? Do you finally face your bad habits and start on shifting them to a healthier habit? Or do you fight and resist your bad habits and work really hard to “make them go away?” It is your life. It is your time. It is your energy. My hope for you is to learn how to use your time and energy effectively and sustainably to shift your bad habits into healthier habits rather than being exhausted all the time. The decision is your to make as it is your life.
Namaste, my friends.
