We all have emotions. Strong ones, weak ones, positive and negative ones. Emotions are just energy in motion. That’s what the word “emotion” means. Note, I did not say positive or negative energy; just energy. It is our experiences with our emotions that make them positive or negative. So how often have you just “sat with your emotions?” How often you do you just allow yourself to feel your emotions? The energy. How often have you just sat with your emotions, allowed yourself to feel the energy and allow it to flow through you? For most of us, rarely if ever. We have been conditioned to “feel only the good stuff” and ignore the “bad stuff.” And this mindset blocks the flow of energy through us and as hard as we “try” to not feel the “bad stuff” it becomes the only energy we feel. So what would happen if you just sat with your emotions and allowed the energy to be processed THROUGH you rather than holding onto it? What would it be like for you to acknowledge your emotions (energy) and allow it to process through you? How would your life shift? This process is not an easy thing. Never has been never will be. But how many things in your life that are worthwhile are easy? Something to ponder.
