Daily Anxiety

Anxiety is an emotion we all experience in life. For some of us, we get stuck in anxiety and live day in and day out in anxiety. This is not a good way to live life because emotions are designed to flow through us, not get stuck in us. And when anxiety gets stuck in us, it causes all sorts of issues. We don’t sleep well, we don’t eat well, we don’t think well, we don’t show up for ourselves and others as well. In general, we are just surviving rather than thriving. And this is not living life. We are always on alert looking for “the threat.” For something or someone who is “going to hurt us.” And it doesn’t matter if the “threat” is real or imagined. Anxiety knows no difference. It is up to us to decide if the “threat” is real or not. Otherwise, we will continue to live in anxiety and that is not living.
