When we burn the candle at both ends, there comes a point where we become all tapped out. We cannot keep going on through the exhaustion and burnout. And yet how many of us continue on? How many of us ignore the signs that we need a break? That we do have any thing in reserves? Many of us push beyond the point of where we are all tapped out because we do not want to seem lazy to ourselves or to others. That somehow taking care of ourselves is a “bad” thing. That somehow taking a time out in life says we are not “productive.” And yet, how can we continue on when we have nothing left to give to ourselves or to others? How does one continue on when one is all tapped out? Something to consider.
Namaste, my friends.
