Many times in my life I felt I didn’t have a voice. That I couldn’t say what I needed or wanted to say about a situation or to someone. I felt that I didn’t have the right to say what I needed to say. But I realize this is not true. I do have a right to say what I need to say. Now, I need to be aware of HOW I am saying what I need to say and to whom I am saying it. Because not everyone is going to hear me. Some people just are not in a place to hear me no matter how I say what I need to say. But that is on me. I need to know who I can say what I need to say. I have to know who I can trust and who I cannot trust. And that trust starts with me. I have to be able to trust myself first in order to trust others. And that trust with myself starts with finding and listening to MY own voice first. Then I can start to have a voice with others.
