Saying thank you to me is underrated these days. It is a simple thing to do and yet many of us struggle to actually just say “Thank you.” We tend to negate our thank you by justifying it or minimizing it. We feel we either deserve more than just a thank you or we feel we are not good enough to deserve the thank you. Either way we are stopping ourselves from actually receiving what is actually behind a simple thank you. And that is the gratitude that is behind a thank you. Whether we are saying thank you or receiving thank you, gratitude is behind the thank you and we all deserve it.
