Stressed about Waiting

We all have to wait for things in our lives. Waiting for the weather to change. Waiting for the “right” job to come along. Waiting for the “right” person, opportunity, or time. We spend more time waiting then we want to realized. And when we become aware we need to wait, that we have to wait, we start to stress out. We stress about the what ifs, and the how comes, and the whys. We stress about what could go wrong but what if we shift our focus to what could go right? What if it could go better than we expected? There are 2 sides to the what ifs. The negative and the positive. And we can choose to shift our focus to the positive side of things. Now that is not to say that things will be positive, because they could be negative. But either way, it is up to us on how we manage our stress and our reactions to life. Because in the end, the only thing we have control over is ourselves.
