They say gratitude and giving thanks is a way to live a happier and healthier life and I agree with this. In today’s world, it seems to me that people are always complaining about something or someone. Now this is part of normal life, but it seems to happen all the time. What happened to being grateful and thankful for what you have rather than what you don’t have? Today’s world is so caught up with material things and doing better than the “Jone’s” that we forget to slow down and look at the little things that make life better. Things like having a friend to talk to or being able to watch a sunset with a loved one, or just being grateful you woke up this morning. Any thing can be looked at in a grateful way. Even conflict and challenges. Because those conflicts and challenges are opportunities to learn and grow. And that is the only way we learn and grow. We do not learn and grow when life is “rainbows and butterflies.” So this day after Thanksgiving, what little things are you grateful and thankful for? How would being grateful more often help improve your life? It is never too late to start practicing being thankful everyday.
Thank you my friends.
